Re: Battery
I think in that case I'm going for the Huawei CS-HUY300XL. These dimensions are 58,3mm × 51,0mm × 5,2mm, so I guess that there are no spacers needed for this battery, or the cutout is actually bigger than 58mm... Anyways really thanks for replying me so fast!

Re: Battery
. Important question! http://i63.tinypic.com/vji20.jpg I think that it's like the "Huawei battery" shown above, because Helder said: The alternate battery I can recommend (because I have some here and they fit fine width wise) is the HTC EVO 3D batteries. With the HTC EVO 3D battery the first termi...

Re: Battery
Hey, I think I have it! The battery of a HTC Evo 3D would fit pretty nice... 2.02" L x 2.01" W x 0.218" H (51 mm x 51 mm x 5,5 mm) The reason I came to this battery is because I saw a post from Helder, testing his battery tester, and saw a battery from a HTC Evo 3D connected to it. So I did some res...

Re: Battery
Hey, I have been wondering this too, and asked Helder about it, and here is his response:
I hope it helps, I am also still searching for a good battery... Good luck, and if I find something, I will try to let you know.

Re: Dutch MintyPi tins
Rossmann isn't located in the Netherlands, and I have done some research, the only shop here where you can buy "native candy", candy from other countries, is the Jamin... Looked in several of these shops, and they didn't have it... However, Rossmann IS pretty close to the border of the Netherlands, ...

Dutch MintyPi tins
Hallo Nederlanders! Hello to all of the Dutch users of this forum! I know it's hard to find a good tin for the MintyPi in Europe... :( Of course, you could go to the USA, or buy tins from Amazon, but there is a new solution! At the Wibra, a Dutch budget store, you can now buy Altoids sized tins in a...

Helder wrote: So I figured I'd post what you NEED to buy for the v3 so people can get ready a bit and also throw a little more info to the FAQ. You will need: A tin (Altoids or whatever) Raspberry Pi Zero (W) A Micro SD Card (8GB or larger) A Soldering Iron with Thin Tip (I use 63/37 thin Solder) S...

Re: New members, introduce yourself!
Hello all of you! My name is Jannes (17) and I'm from Holland. A year or so ago I saw a video of the first MintyPi, and I thought: "Wow, that's actually pretty amazing, to fit an entire emulator computer inside of a small mint tin." That was it. :? I liked the video, but never thought if it again......

MintiPi Compute Module
Hey, Is it possible to get a Raspberry Pi Compute Module inside of a MintyPi ? If it is, it would be great if Helder could make custom parts for that option too. Installation would then be easier, because you don't need to solder the Raspberry Pi to the PCB... :) On the other hand I could not find i...
