Re: Pokemon Trading?
Isn't there a retropie built in wifi-link to connect systems? I remember something somewhere about it. I think it actually might be possible. There is but it's very finicky, and I don't think any cores has it implemented... Correct me if I'm wrong! Another solution is emulators that emulate two lin...

Re: Battery Charged Indicator?
Since my powerboost is right at the top of the shell i think i may just drill a small hole and use a piece of plastic or something like camble said for this first this current build since its all glued in and ready to roll. I did this except the plastic piece, I'll do that when I have time. I origi...

Splash video and USB audio

Anyone have tips for a media player I could use (and a way of implementing it) or maybe a way to work omxplayer into...

Re: Boot time tips?
Thanks guys. Im trying it now. UPDATE Wow that literally cut the boot up time in half! Anything else that I can do to cut it more?? You can remove networking completely if you want, didn't save much time for me though. Other than that try these; systemd-analyze blame systemd-analyze critical-chain ...

Re: Boot time tips?
Do i just put that code in my config.txt? Also, how does one disable samba? Press f4 or quit emulation station some other way, then type it as a command. Tip on removing samba completely: https://www.reddit.com/r/raspberry_pi/comments/2xwc4b/remove_samba_completely/ This is great if you don't plan ...

Re: Boot time tips?
DHCP is a protocol that gives the server/router a way of assigning an IP address to a computer, Samba is a software that enables you to access files over the network. Both of these are useless for me since I won't be connecting the project to a network.

Re: Boot time tips?
I can also add that removing samba is a good way off saving some time, personally i didn't really need it.
