Re: GBZ for sale
What are the 5000 games that you are selling with it? Sure that's legal?

Re: Emulation Station speedups for RapberryPi Zero
Make sure the file is executable: $ ls -l /opt/retropie/supplementary/emulationstation/emulationstation -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 4746728 Mar 16 20:41 /opt/retropie/supplementary/emulationstation/emulationstation If the permissions (-rwxr-xr-x) look any different do: sudo chmod 755 /opt/retropie/supple...

Re: How-to de-touch a touch-screen.
Figured that ;) and cut it, since I have no intentions to ever use it as a touch screen. Even if I wanted to, at that price I would just buy another one. Gotta say, for the price it is quite good (I have a Pd035vx2 here, but haven't got around to actually use it yet), there is definitly no problem w...

Re: How-to de-touch a touch-screen.
This looks like it works exactly the same way on the Kedei screen.
What I am wondering: why not just cut the touchscreen cable? Any reason not to do it?

Re: Fleders GBZ incl. parts – incl. shop list for DE/EU
Do you need a volume potentiometer? There are some on ebay, and I also sell some on my website. I am not sure if you can use the original, but the part being cheap, I got a new one for my build. Thanks for the reply, in the meantime I figured out the correct part number and ordered five for 2 Euros...

Re: Gameboy Zero project using standard AA batteries
I note that vnman uses AA's in his picture advising on Joystick location here: http://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1420 Cheers, These are Trustfire, and therefore highly likely not AA but 14500 3,7V LiIon batterys in AA size. Like these: http://www.dx.com/s/14500?category=400 Haven't r...

Re: Missing controls for more advanced consoles
Not sure if this is still of interest, but the Pi3 plays Bomberman64 and MarioKart64 just fine. In Bomberman sometimes the sound is a bit crackling, but nothing too bad. Haven't tried any other N64 games so far. With the controls of the Xbox360 controller I didn't have any issues playing those two g...

Am I right to assume that you used the original volume wheel from the GameBoy you disassembled? Still looking for something matching...

Re: GIJoe4500's First Build
Check out these That definitely helped! Both of those in that corner are 5v, but in the other bank of connectors, there was a ground. Rigged up some temp wiring just to make sure the screen would power on, and I had success! That's one more thing taken care of. Could you elaborate on that, which pi...

Re: Chedda's #3 gameboy pi build
Thanks for the infos so far. I am currently waiting for a Zero and Zero W to be delivered, then I will take some more measures. So far the Pi3 seems to be taking between ~400mA (playing Super Mario and Tetris on Gameboy) and ~500mA (Mariokart64). GB reading was about an hour, 64 reading was only 20 ...
