I know when mine is completely dead it won't even turn on if plugged in until I've let it charge a few minutes. Otherwise you may just have some bad connections but someone who's got more experience than me with this stuff may know better. My guess is let it charge a bit.

Fixed it. I soldered the GND test pad to the 2 pin on the ribbon connector and I had to also connect a wire from the 5v gpio to the VCC pad.

Ok so as I was preparing to disconnect the pcb from the pi by taking off the connections from the power and sound card to the pcb, after I took them off I decided to plug it in to the pi again to test just in case and it worked. So I resoldered the points I took off and it worked again. I don't know...

Preparing for the worst is removing it from the pcb again. Took a lot of time the first time and I don't look forward to doing it again. I'm hoping the sd card is the problem because the battery isn't the problem as far as I can tell. But I'll check the gpios when I get out of work today.

My charging light is on but when I plug into the pi the light on the pi doesn't come on. I was hoping it was just the sd card so I wiped it and re burned the image but still nothing. I'm going to pick up a new sd card today and see if it fixes it. Thanks
