Hi, I think you have a battery with much lower capacity than specification suggest. Maybe the battery is bad from production.
I would suggest using a multimeter in current mode between battery and power boost.
Then you can measure how much current is drawn and see how much capacity your battery has.

Re: [SALE] salami's first GBZ - HDMI Display, White shell, Arduino, Battery meter
Any questions about the build? Is 175€ too much for a Raspi zero build?

Re: My New PCB Prototypes
Hi,
maybe you can make the 1V8 testpoint available for the HDMI display energy modders?

Re: [WIP] Salami's 1st GBZ Modded-HDMI UART Shift-Buttons Brightness Control
I like your solution. I don't know why most people can live with mono audio and so lost part of music and sound effect. (Original game boy is stereo and even if has only one speaker,it's output sound is the sum of L and R without losses) My setup is: USB SOUND CARD>POTENTIOMETER>HEADPHONE JACK(Ster...

Re: [WIP] Salami's 1st GBZ Modded-HDMI UART Shift-Buttons Brightness Control
I saw a member in an other thread with a very interesting solution. He uses the potenziometer between the screen and the headphone jack. So you will have a mechanial loudness trimmer, better than my software idea.

Re: [WIP] Salami's 1st GBZ Modded-HDMI UART Shift-Buttons Brightness Control
Hi, i am only using the LEFT channel of the amp, because I use a mono speaker.
The RIGHT amp channel is grounded to reduce noise.
