Re: [Pre-Order] Safe Shutdown Switch (PowerBoost Version) - Closed
@DarrylUK Impossible to say without seeing it. Check your /boot/config.txt has the dtoverlay line and your wiring is correct. Install the modified script I've linked at the start of the thread. I reinstalled the script, then checked config.txt. Somehow the last 2 characters had been deleted from th...

Camble, is there any reason why the board would stop working? I will try and reinstall the python script tomorrow but it's just cutting power when I turn off now.

Re: GBZ with Helder AIO
My only concern about covering all of the components is heat. Otherwise, looks pretty dang good. Yeah, I'll keep an eye on that. I've not had any long sessions, max 20 minutes or so. I'll check the temps and if it's high I'll remove the top layer. It's just for tidying, the underneath layers are in...

GBZ with Helder AIO
Thought I'd share my first build here. In hindsight I should have planned more and it would have been much neater. This was really an experiment prior to me making my own and one for a family member. This one will be sold. Hopefully the next one will be a kite AIO but as time ticks on I may go with ...

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
I've tested a new one today. It's just a cheapie pack of 5 from china so there's no data sheet. I've attached an image of the results, I'm sure ground is in the right place as I took it apart, are the in's and out's in the opposite place? Edit, jesus, what a rookie mistake. Even though I thought I r...

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
I'll have a look. It was a pack of 5 which is strange.

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
I have a bit of a peculiar problem. I had a working pot, then I broke a leg off when manhandling it. I've put a new one on and I don't get volume control, then I've replaced again and again, no luck. The sound works fine and sounds great. I'm just wondering if there is anything else I could have don...

Do you have installation instructions for an offline GBZ?
Can I copy the .py script to the micro SD and install from there?

Re: Beerman's GBZ
I bought the same battery and I'm just considering the best way to fit it in. I may do the glue shut method, and also the cart slot method. I'd like access to the rear though.
I've got the bits lined up for a kite build, my current build is a Helder AIO build.
