OK, I honestly don't know then. Maybe the third chip might do it, but I really don't know.

Also, you might want to try to run it with 5V without any modding first.

Re: Which Version Screen Do I Have And How to Convert It?
It should be pretty much same as the other screens. Does any of the 2 chips have XL1509 on them?

Re: Need help with variant 9 screen
I took mine off, based on some guide, but some people left them in there, so I think it makes no difference. Especially if the picture is good, as you said. :) so to get this right.... you have the chipped removed and jumper cable to pin 2 if so... it will be interesting to see how it performs with...

Re: Need help with variant 9 screen
Ok, here's the chip diagram: http://www.sudomod.com/forum/download/file.php?id=3364 I don't have this screen, so I can't guarantee how it should be, but I think it should be pin2. But you're getting some picture, it could also be poorly attached ribbon cable between the board and the screen. They're...

Re: Need help with variant 9 screen
The second picture shows the red wire going to pin3, not pin2 (even though it's correct in your first picture)
edit: Also you ground wire is going to a wrong spot on the Pi, I think.

Re: Does anyone have this screen?
So I received the LCD today, pleasantly surprised with the size of the board! Haven't done the 5V mod yet, but the same 1509 chip is there! :) Came in a different box, but it's seems great. Hope it works, will try it tomorrow :) https://k1ahpw.bn1303.livefilestore.com/y3mezyXmdimcXDdoVTOUPAXq3_hQQeR...
