Re: Game boy camera disassemble
has anyone given the idea some thought to fit one of these with a pi camera module?

Re: Game boy camera disassemble
I have given it some thought but it would he too hard for me because I'm a novice. I like building stuff and i have ideas but no programming or hardware experience. I only mod a few things bht nothing too difficult.CaptainDurden wrote:has anyone given the idea some thought to fit one of these with a pi camera module?

Could you please write the dimensions of the upper smaller camera part PCB.
https://www.tindie.com/products/freto/p ... extension/
So it should only be the Pi camera in the upper part, flat cable (small) to the down part. Then that part down.
It also has 4 wirest extra so I will be using the same "interface" so I can exchange the camera module or an extra storage and/or 4G hot spot module via USB.

Re: Game boy camera disassemble
Has anyone made any progress on this idea? I'm very interested in it. I would love to see any ideas about the camera integration and perhaps the printer. The camera is kind of a special thing in that it's incredibly low resolution, so it produces a uniquely pixelated and small image. I think I read somewhere that it's one of the lowest resolution image producing digital camera around, or something.
