but the performance of it seems a little suspect from the youtube video....

but it may be a good board for some little projects as you can hook a sceen up to it without a board (maybe Gameboy SP shell)

Yeah it's tiny, but the ram is an issue! It mentions 512Mbit which is clever marketing, as we normally talk in megabytes. There are 8 bits in a byte, so it therefore only has 64 megabytes of ram! Suddenly doesn't sound so good, and you can also directly connect an LCD to a pi (although it chomps up gpio)

Get a small cheep LCD in your project https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2312
Wrap it all round a battery https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2292
Or use a custom PCB to make it really small https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2512

yeah....

at first glance it doesnt seem that bad... but if you watch the video you can see that some of the emulation seems very laggy....

i'm still intrigued, as it may be useful in small project

For sure, it would be great for something like a magic mirror project or something that doesn't need much speed.

I like the special emulation station theme that has no graphics to save ram
