I don't own Simplify3D slicer which would make everything much easier as i've heard. Anyone here that has experience with it?

I've recently bought this as I've read so many positive reviews and had a few people personally recommend it. Unfortunately, it's proving to be utterly garbage! The file they provide for my particular printer (Da vinci Jr) is appaling. I've now had a tech guy tell me that actually, they've had to guess at the best settings, because xyz won't release them...

Best idea is to find a forum for your printer. Someone on there is bound to have it. See what they think.
