It'd be a shame to sacrifice a 8bitdo controller imo.

There are a ton of aftermarket and third party controllers now days that look identical. You can use them and not feel bad about ruining a controller.

I don't know if they're exactly the same size, I'd have to take apart my 360 controller and grab a caliper. But it is an idea to play with if you want to investigate it is using xbox 360 button replacements.

It's a real shame that they can't make a red button bright red, not wine red! That crappy plastic, those colours they use just look cheap (I know as I bought them!!). I'm thinking of casting my own buttons....!!

I know, right?!
I thought of that too. Just some silicone, and the original buttons and you could do this.
But i have no experience in this topic and not much space to do it, either.

Hey dom, that sounds like an awesome how-to guide if you're willing to do it and have the means to document it. I'm sure people wouldn't mind trying making their own buttons if it's simple.

If I do it, then I will make a guide. I have already ordered 5 button sets to use as a mold and bought the condutive pads.
Now, apart from red and transparent red, what colours do you want? :D
