tic tac table tabletop

Post by gamingbro » Mon Feb 18, 2019 7:24 am

I wanna make a video game emulation system out of tic tax box but I can think of a good name plus I don't know if a raspberry pi 0 is to thick to fit and there are no measurement of tic tac boxes online for some reason

If my sources are correct, waveshare's pi hat (link in the end) should fit in a big tic tac box. On top of that, some guy named cracked console made a charging circuit for that board (2nd link). Edit: While looking into this, I found a new waveshare hat with x + y buttons, shoulder buttons, start and select buttons, and a touchscreen. I just bought everything an am preparing my pi tac build :D Let's collaborate!

I'm calling mine the Pic Tac *working title*. Since I'm not including sound and I'm probably using replaceable batteries, I think this'll be a pretty breezy build. That is, when the board comes in two months  .

If you guys wanted to experiment with sound, you could try using these speakers. They're super tiny!

Wow, thanks for pointing that speaker out. I lack knowledge in this area of electronics, so wouldn't that speaker need an amplifier to work with a pi? If a forum has discussed this, can you point me to it? Thanks
