Well, surfing the internet, i saw this pic:
as you can see, on the bottom it has a led strip that aparently reacts with the music. As this led strip:

I found the TIP31, a transistor that can do that without problem, but as i see, the persons who use it powers the leds with 12v, but in our Game Boys, we have a 5v voltage.
The question that i have is that this trassistor could work propely with 5v. Also, which is tha range of reaction of it? Is out there any other and better way for doing it?
I also want to post my DMG with the light buttons already done. It could be cool seeing them reacting with the music.

PS: i would connect the transistor to the 3,5mm headphones jack, not to the speaker.

i think that led strip is for the battery voltage?
