USB Hub Trouble

Needing help with my Targus usb. Have it all wired up right and did testing. It doesn't seem like it's getting enough power. The screen and everything on the power strip work great but the teensy connected to the usb hub doesn't work. I tested the usb hub with a thumb drive with a light and the light barely lights up so I know it's a power issue. Did i burn out a capasitor or something inside and if so how can I fix this? Or am I going to have to get a new hub?
