I was wondering if you were going to finish that small project you were talking about for some time now. Excellent work!!! it was a real treat to see that finally. Now I really need to get to work on my new project so I can show that off when its done. :) Also I subscribed to your youtube channel and look forward to seeing more stuff from you.

Yay my first subscriber! I should get you a plack or something!

I ordered all the bits on the 2nd of Jan, was waiting forever for the screens to arrive from China, and in fact, they still have yet to arrive! The perils of technology!

Speaking of which I sized up the 128x128 with the VMU internally and it's going to be a near perfect fit. So with the Pi0W and a tiny boost charger it's looking like it'll go alright

You don't need the boost! I have yet to try it, but my normal zero with a wi-fi dongle is happy with the li-po voltages, so i see no reason why the w wouldn't be

Hmmm that's very interesting...
But I'd still need the charger.... and the one I've been pointed to is the same size as the adafruit micro LiPo but also with boost and only £1.50 ;) so why not eh

just waiting for China post

also in sizing up the pi0 today I noticed the lanyard point is exactly the right size and place for the uSD card to poke out so no need to poke it out of the 'cap' allowing me more space

ooh you cant grumble for £1.50!!! even if delivery time is 30-60 days :(

my theory is, why boost it up to 5v (with 85~% efficiency) for the pi to then drop it back to 3.3v (with 90~% efficiency) when you can use it as it is :)
