Hi! Just want to show a little update on the Ludus first prototype looking forward to get some feedback to improve this into a cool unit.
This is my first post, so I think I should introduce myself. My name is Luis, I'm an electronics engineer and I love hacking and tinkering. I learn 3D design 3 or 4 years ago and since then I've been building stuff. A year ago I decided to make a portable game system after building the pigrrrl and realise that the screen was to small and low res to make me feel comfortable while playing.
I've seen that this size is too big to play comfortable. That it's why I'm going to move to a 5" screen instead of 7" for V2.
Also, I'm going to design a pcb to join all parts together and make it easier to assembly as a kit. Hope to have enough space for a 3.7V 6600 mAh 3 cells lipo battery.
I'm thinking about using standard replacement parts for the buttons (snes style, both the cross direction and abxy buttons) and add a analog styck from the psp 1000 (which it's really low profile)
Here (https://drive.google.com/folderview?id= ... kF4NUpsb28) are some pictures and videos in case you want to take a look.
Greetings!

Re: Ludus Prototype (7" handheld)
Nice, I like it. Looks a little like a switch!
