I'm not sure it would be achievable to be honest
It's definitely castable. It would just take a crap-load of RTV to do it, so it's really not practical.
It wouldn't take to much to be honest if done right.

One day I will attempt it

I'm interested in the clear DMG Game shell if you'd like to do it. I've DM-ed you as well for more info.

I’m interested in getting some pieces cast and wanted to know if your service is still available. I’d like to get a couple clear carts and internal pieces cast in clear.
Thanks

So I've been inundated with messages for people wanting crystal parts for builds.

I have hopefully replied to everyone if not send me a message

Those are really polished! Great job.
Would you mind sharing the stuff that you used for your components?
Thank you

the problem with casting is the cost of the silicone for mold making. Once you've got the mold you're all set until it wears out. It could be on the 5th cast or the 50th depending on the quality of silicone. But quality means $$.

you're probably looking at $100 worth of good silicone just to make the mold for an SNES and $20 in resin. not to mention the hours of prep

the question is how much are you willing to spend.

I feel like there's a lot of interest for the snes case because of the aging and brittleness. I really don't know why repro cases aren't made for them

I really doubt there would be much interest in a $100 resin SNES case. Because it will easily cost $100 to produce (silicone + resin + labour).

But hey, if you feel like there'd be a lot of interest, you're welcome to try to market it yourself - the supplies are easy to find, and it's a fairly simple process to learn. https://www.alumilite.com/
