The one on the right is fully operational (pun intended) and the one on the left is about 80% done. I was working on building these when a friend of mine sent me the reddit link on the game boy zero last year. So I stopped working on the second one and started playing with gameboys.

Yeah I used a Revell snaptite Falcon model and did a lot of cutting and filling to make it work. The boxes are for game storage

I'm pretty new to modding portables, but... Did someone say gaming rigs? I build a new one for PAX East nearly every year. :)

First year, 2010, was a 1950s radio with an 18" LCD:
