Thought I'd share what I'm doing :):

Note that the icons are not functioning yet, but I will work on it. ;)
I will write a python script which will take of that. :)

Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to inform you that I am currently moving very far away, and therefore I am very busy.

UPDATE: I am still alive! My ISP is setting up my internet on the 19th of January at my new place, explaining my offline-ness.

If you write me a PM, I will very likely take some time to respond.

Also, my 2nd build will soon go on, so if you've been following it, please stay tuned! :)

Many thanks for your understanding!

That looks good ;) I only have a battery icon right now, and its functional, but i have to finetune the voltage curve to match the actual remaining percentage power left, and i have a short period (0,5s) of no icon when i get more or less power. I have 10 png's right now with 10% increase for each png.

Why and how are you using HTML for this? I just use some png's and the pngview command in a python script. I'm btw done with mine now, found a great solution for switching status without the icon gone missing in statusupdates :D

As to:
  • Why
Just for development on my Windows machine, getting needed values, testing etc. :)
  • How
Overlaying images over each other on different layers, modifying states with the python script ;)
