4.2 Emulation station Crashing

Post by onesojourner » Wed May 03, 2017 7:51 am

Is anyone else having issues with emulation station crashing? If I do not load a rom within about 5 minutes ES crashes every time for me. Once I am in a rom I fine for the most part. If I try to scrape in ES then it crashes after about 1-2 minutes. I have reburned several different SD cards. Is anyone else experiencing this?

That's weird , have you formatted your sdcard FAT32 ?
Do you use the MicroSd in the MicroSd slot, or did you wire it ?
Maybe you should format the sdcard and write a new image, i know you already tried but i would try again.
It could also be a power issue like a power drop wich makes the system freeze. perhaps you could try it with a external power supply (adaptor straight to the 5v connections) and try again if it freezes, if it doesn't freeze after this it meight be a power issue.
If all of this didn't help you i would try a different Raspberry pi to test.

Let us know.
