Gameboy cartridge on Raspberry pi 3?

I am trying to make a gameboy zero, but with the raspberry pi 3 instead of the zero. Is it possible to do the gameboy cartridge for the rpi 3 considering the layout of the SD slot?

it's possible....
It just depends on how much space you can free up by using all in one boards and eliminating the need for a display contoller board. (hint something like Kite's aio will let you use a Pi3 but you'll probably still have to strip off the bulky sockets like the USB and ethernet ports)
