Determining screen resolution

Post by gijoe4500 » Thu Jan 05, 2017 8:33 am

How can I tell what resolution my screen is? The one I purchased is HDMI input and supposedly is adjustable up to 1920x1080. It looks heck of a lot clearer than the images of other people's screens I have seen. But I can't tell if that it actually is, or if its just because taking a picture of a screen doesn't look all that great.

RetroPie image looks a bit blurry in the middle of the screen, but that's because of my phone taking the picture. If you look at the bottom where it says "Launch" and "System" that's a lot more indicative of what the entire screen looks like.

This picture is a little better, but still shows up blurrier than it actually is.

I guess in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't really matter what the resolution is. Because i'm 100% happy with it. I'm just curious.
