Hi all. Just started getting the components together for my first gbz and my BW screen turned up from Amazon UK and after carefully peeling the plastic front screen off, I found that I had a "v9" according to the wiki page.
I wired it up to one of my pi zeros (yellow to pi zero TV point, red to 5v on GPIO and black to GND on GPIO) and without any 5v conversion the screen works!!!
BUT the picture quality is not great. I cannot read any of the ROM names in the retropie menus. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do? HELP!!
BW v9 picture quality, advice needed!

There's plenty you can do to improve things
Search the forum for font size and also framebuffer
If you alter these it improves things, still not the best but for £15 it's good enough
