Help with screen identification

Post by mattfl » Tue Jan 31, 2017 12:01 pm

So, digging through old crap here at work I came across this HP Printer promo thing that had an LCD playing HP videos on it. I tore into it and found a nice 7" LCD Screen that displays at a pretty high resolution, the videos are crystal clear and seem like it's at least 1280x800.

But I can't for the life of me find a model or anything on this screen. Can someone help me identify it or at least point me in the direction of how I'd hook this up to a Pi?

The PCBoard on the back is made by www.mayways.com and this seems to be their 7" screen that they use in materials.

The wires running off the board are

4 pushbuttons that change what video are playing
1 micro usb charging port
1 some sort of small battery
1 3.7V 1800mAh battery

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'd like to build a little emulation machine outta this.
