I'm here because i found problem with my new HDMI screen.

The slide switch is dead. If i press on it very hard, the backlight of the screen return. No press, no backlight.

Here the switch :


Here, many know buttons, electronic and soldering... you think it's possible to hack this button ?

Remove button, and solder point at other point ?

Yes. Easy enough to remove and replace, or relocate.
