I guess trimming helped, board no longer bends
Nice.

Any chance you could upload some pics to illustrate what parts you're talking about?
Duh I should of took a picture before and after. But basically the case for not align 100% when I did get it to align and I pressed the case together I can see from the bottom of the game boy (the side of the headphone jack) that the SAIO was flexing (I already removed pieces from the back of the battery compartment that I thought were in the way). It would probably still work but it flexed enough to make me uncomfortable. After I shaved off where the connectors hit the back of the battery compartment it closes perfectly. I'll post pictures of what I have done tonight to help those that noticed they are having a similar issue.

[...] I did noticed that without cutting out the most of the battery compartment as indicated in Kite's PDF the Joystick connector and the I2C connector on the SAIO do not allow the case to close correctly. Has anyone else run into this problem? If so did you have to reduce the the back of the battery compartment to get it to fit or did you have to cut out pieces of the battery compartment to get it to fit? I feel that if pieces that have to bet cut out to get the connectors to fit the battery will not fit...
I do had to grind down the plastic near the headphone jack a little bit to fit the SAIO in.

If you take a look at pictures in first post you will see some minor trimming inside battery compartment is required but it's noting major. I think bit more trimming will be required for bottom battery spacers due to new batteries being a bit thicker
Don't grow up.

That was the first thing I trimmed along with other extrusions on the back of the battery compartment.

I'm definitely down for two if you run another sale.

If you read about a page or two back he mentions about how he will have a limited supply to sell after all the preorders are fulfilled and shipped. He will post it in a new link for people to purchase from.

I am sitting back patiently and waiting for the link so I can get the last piece to my build.

Trimming the back like this also helps. I've been having issues with button holds because those pieces of the battery compartment were pushing on the board and bowing it.

THEY ARRIVED! :D
Batteries are here and looking mighty fine ;)
One is already undergoing capacity testing and size test fit has been done. Like mentioned before they are slightly thicker then sample pieces so bottom battery spacers have to be trimmed for proper fit.

Now I'm knee deep in packaging and preparing to send them out.

And as if all this preparation wasn't enough our national postal service dropped a b0mb on me... I called them about some shipping details and they told me they have just recently changed policy on devices with lithium batteries - they are BANNED from air shipments, just ground and sea :? :o  I mean.....WTF ?!%#&@ are they kidding me? I have tons of orders to send out and now this? And since I can't do anything to change their mind it is like this at the moment: about 1/3 of orders are still good as they will go via road or sea. For remaning 2/3 I will have to go to foreign postal service, use foreign fulfillment company or 3PL company. For any of these solutions I hope it won't break my bank as quick search didn't find services as afordable as our postal service is.
So I will do my best this won't cause too much of aditional delays. Fingers crossed

It looks so great! =)

When will I be able to order two? - I missed the preorder and I'm fine to pay more for the freight =)
