All guessing games and time could be saved by just having a purchase price in the description, even if it is a premium.

But you create a private bidding war this way. Someone who really wants it could bid $150, like above, and if he sets a static price of $120 he would miss out on that offer.

VeteranGamer has leverage to do what ever he wants right now because he is selling something you can't get. More power to him.
