Looks like it - just measured mine and it's nearly identical. Looks the same too, so I bet it is the same one.yogurtcup wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2017 7:46 pmWill this switch work? http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Pin-SPDT-Slid ... Sw5cNYSqFV

Re: mintyPi 2.0 News & Updates
Added an update.
Hmm, these don't look the be the same ones. As I've said before, other small switches will work, you'll just have to snap the guides off the bottom tin 3d-printed piece and the drill guide won't be of much use.dryja123 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2017 8:21 pmCheck this one out. 50 units for the same price with free Prime shipping if available in your area:

Re: mintyPi 2.0 News & Updates
I have a tin with 1/8 inch more of a lip on the lid, but everything else is the same. So I was wondering if it would work

So random thought. What's the probability of something like this in the future using the pi 3 so dim version?

Re: mintyPi 2.0 News & Updates
Not likely since we need a bigger battery for the power consumption and besides the fact that the so-dimm socket will add alot more height to the build which limits even more battery space and we will also need external components unless people don't care for wifi and any other components which require more power and therefore a decent battery. The tin with all parts in it as it is with this build is really tight as many of you will see once you have the build put together.docholiday11x wrote: ↑Tue Jun 13, 2017 6:25 pmSo random thought. Re: mintyPi 2.0 News & Updates
Not to mention the SOC on the Pi 3 gets hot as hell. Not a good option for this project.

Haha very true. Hadn't considered power consumption or heat output. Wouldn't be too pleasant holding a metal tin at around 80*c. Oh well.
