A 13 Year Old's Second mintyPi

Post by NarxElectronics » Sun Sep 24, 2017 7:40 pm

Hello once again my fellow sudomodders! I'm back to log my progress on my second mintyPi. Now that I've got the time I decided to start it with my second Helder PCB (which was from the original 1st batch!) Now that I've built my first one, this build won't be even half as hard to pull off, now that I've got experience and knowledge under my belt.

Progress:

Sunday, September 24th, 2017:

Soldered my Pi to the PCB. What took me maybe a LONG time last build (if you're wondering how long, let's just say too long) took me approx. 20 minutes to do this time.

The battery monitor is slanted but doesn't matter because I tested and everything works. Oh, and please ignore the burnt L pad...it's something I don't want to explain :?

Still waiting for the rest of the parts to come.

It's actually remnance of my first build, this was the pcb I originally used with my old horrible soldering iron, and I was just like screw and when I got the proper equipment I used the second PCB when I got proper tools..luckily I was able to use my hot air gun to desolder my pi and solder on a new one.

Just keep in mind, soldering isn't about speed, its about accuracy. Take your time to ensure you get everything right.
1st MintyPi Project (Completed)

Don't support thieves like ckliang who copied Helder's AIO to resell and is now cloning the mintyPi, support the original creators and not the thieves!
