I ordered the 3D printed parts and a set of buttons from Wermy, but I never got any kind of email confirmation. (I'm assuming this is some kind of PayPal thing, maybe because I paid with a CC instead of using PayPal funds? I didn't get an email from my PCB from Helder either, but he did confirm for me.) Is there a way to verify that I have indeed (pre)ordered the parts/buttons?

IF you order more before I start to ship them out then email me so I can try to ship them together otherwise it will get shipped later since it will be further in the list of orders.

What about Kapton tape?
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072Z92QZ2 is this Kapton tape? or should I be using something else? I know this is a pretty simple thing, but I've never used Kapton tape, just electrical tape. In all the build videos I see though I see Kapton being used so I figured I should follow suit since there's gotta be a reason for it.

Yes, that is kapton tape. It is just generally easier to work with, leaves very little if any residue, and heat resistant.

How important is thickness here? they have stuff that is 1 mil, 1.5, and .05 I was thinking of getting the thin stuff because it seems like it would be easier to fit in the tight spaces of the tin.

Thickness is important if you want to be able to close your tin. There's very little room once everything is in there so you want to go with tape that is as thin as possible.
