this diagram should make things clear. instead of wiring the powerboost in, just connect the bat/gnd from the micro-lipo to the 5v line of the Pi, with a simple switch on the Bat line. (ignore the green boards at the top of the pic -it's straight out of the PiGrrl guide)
Something like this is how I was planning to wire it up (of course the wires would go into Helder's board rather than directly to the RPi):

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks!

That's pretty much how I have my build setup.
Except instead of running the wires to the Pi you're running the wires to power and ground on the AIO, correct?

Sorry for derailing this thread. I'll keep everything on subject from here on out.

You could wire it to the Pi as well but the power pads on my board would be ideal since it's directly above where the charge board is.

Don't contact me about obtaining my board files (as you will not get them). If my Boards or PCB Kits are sold out, they will be restocked as soon as I can get them and there is demand for them. You can join the mailing list on my Website to be notified when they are available.

Thanks! I'm only asking because I'm going to build a MintyPi with the prototype board you sent me. Once again, sorry for deviating from the topic of the thread.

Anybody know if this 1" speaker from Adafruit will work, or is it too big?
I've just finished my milk.

This is the ones that I used and bought:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/122331730209

this guy obviously sees the mintyPi being a hot item and has price gouged the fuck out of these speakers. Over $90!!! for 2 pair when they were a few bucks a few weeks ago.

Bought a set of two speakers, exactly the same as the speakers on your eBay link, on aliexpress for 1,17€

I spoke to the guy who had the $90 listing for the speakers. He said he's low on stock and doesn't want people to buy from him right now. He actually created a special sale for me so I could buy his last 2. He's anticipating on getting more stock next week and he will drop the price down to $1.95 +$2.95 shipping, per set.

Class act guy!

That's quite a standard happening for sellers to have one long running auction and just set the price crazy when they need to restock. There's always someone saying 'hey look at the crazy price' though

Yeah, I learned a lesson that day. I don't do a lot of shopping on eBay because I can get almost anything Amazon Prime.
