Nah mate in in australia. Im gonna buy another screen off ebay and give it another whirl..

I had this problem. Had a dimly lit screen. Once I soldered the wire as directed by the OP, manage to get it to show boot. Only issue is that screen supplied by Helder has 3 vertical lines on the right of the screen. Tested a spare that I have which appears to be working so far. Need to test inputs and sound still.

maybe not the right place to post....

but i'm trying to get a 2.2 lcd to work with one of Helder prototype pcb and have this slight issue....

apologies for the video (done with phones camera)

(the screens waving back at me

)

everything seems to be wired up correctly, but obviously somethings not right....
i have a feeling i might need a resistor on the led (but not 100% sure)

any help or suggestions will be greatly appriciated....

You might need to change the refresh rate for the LCD. Wermy might be able to direct you on how to do it through the terminal or maybe someone else with Linux expertise.

Nah there was bo saving it. It frustrated me so much so that i threw it at the wall. Completely broken now haha just waiting for a new one now!
