Re: Screen ?
Someone here completed a build using one of those screens: viewtopic.php?f=32&t=3293
You may have a hard time depending on your skill level.
More material on the screen can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2312

Re: Screen ?
that screen is the same as the others, with the exception that its already connected to a board.....
your not going to be able to use the board that its attached to as its too big for the build, so you will have to remove the board and replace it with one that fits (if your replacing a screen from Helder kit, then obviously you wont need a another board just remove the screen... )
a good alternative board is the one designed by moosepr
https://oshpark.com/shared_projects/zUNmnlLF
but removing the screen is not a walk in the park
i would highly recommend using flux and don't be shy about the amount you use (you can always clean it up afterwards)
i personally also used a chisel tip....
and most importantly don't rush it...
but....
my biggest recommendation would be just to buy another screen, they don't cost that much, and if you have to order moosepr board then your gonna be waiting anyway
its make it a lot easier, and if you do mess up with what you have right now you gonna end up having to order another one anyway (and you've wasted a screen)
bare 2.4" screen

this one has a touch panel, which is easily removed

Re: Screen ?
all the pins are labelled on moosepr's board and on helder's board, make sure they all match. and double check the soldered ribbon on the purple board. Grab your multimeter too and make sure you have continuity on all GPIO pins.
