Re: [For Sale] Safe Shutdown v1.0 for BangGood/GearBest/Generic power Supply
I just tried installing this circuit and while everything powers on (the pi, the usb hub, the screen and sound) all I get is a black screen. Should I have installed the script before I soldered the gpio wires? I haven't tried desoldering the GPIO wires yet just because I don't want to go through the hassle if I don't have to.
EDIT: I desoldered the gpio connections and I still just get a black screen. So here's how the connections looks right now.
Without GPIO: With GPIO (it looks a bit of a mess because I didn't plan the placement too good when I started but it gets the point across):

@winnetouch Your wiring looks fine. Can you try connecting the BangGood power supply directly to PP1/PP6 to see if you get the same issue?

It was wired directly before I installed the switch. But I'll desolder and try again and see. Will report back.

Turns out I'm an idiot and my SD card was corrupted. After a reflash (and the loss of all my saves ) I managed to get it working. Now I just need to reconfigure everything and install the safe shutdown script.

Re: [For Sale] Safe Shutdown v1.0 for BangGood/GearBest/Generic power Supply
I got around to installing the script and I have a weird issue. Is it normal that I have to shut of and then shut on the power switch before the zero powers off? If I just turn of the switch nothing happens. Then if I switch it again it runs the shut down script but doesn't shut down. Then if I flip the switch again it shuts off. I read in your instructions that I have to edit the scripts config if I'm using a generic powersupply but I never found what I have to actually edit. Is this the issue?
