Hello,
I am working on my first GBZ and I use Kites latest SAIO Board and I also used the "Normal"-Holes printed on the PCB and now the Buttons do not batch with the wells on your bracket. Where did I do wrong? I already ordered a new Case as I messed up the Screen cutting. So should I use the two nobs with the hole, that came with the bracket or should I sand down the bracket a bit?

Regards

You need to position the bracket and then insert the two well guides in the bracket wells. Mark the holes with a fine marker. Use a small drill for a pilot hole on that mark then make the appropriate size holes with the correct size step drill bit. The information is posted on the first page of this thread. Hope this helps.

HoolyHoo,

As the master of the screen bracket, is there any way you can make one with a spot to hold a joystick in the middle? With Kite's new "Circuit Sword" board, I think a lot of people will be adding joysticks to their builds and your bracket with this addition would be awesome! Also, have you made any progress on a bracket for the upgraded "640x480" screen Kite offers with his boards? Thanks for all of your hard work on these screen brackets HoolyHoo!

I build aloud of zeros and i can say there is almost no room between the buttons and the direction pad. So if you place a psp1001 joystick between that you wil see it for your self thats there no room.
Whooo Stop befor ask in a post. First use the search or the wiki befor you make a topic.. Just saying.........

Hey thanks :D

Is your thinking joystick in the middle of the build or on the bottom left? Either way I would need to know what joystick and have kites new board so I could play with it and come up with something. Anything is possible.

As far as the 640x480 I don’t have a screen in hand to get the measurements or test but I’m pretty sure it’s possible if kite or someone has a broken one to donate for testing. 😉

I just use regular PLA and it has worked just fine without any issues. I imagine you could use a number of different materials without issues, just take into account materials like ABS shrink a bit so there is that.
