I like the Pam amp on this board but what about the static noise coming from the pam amp?

Also it looks very similar to helder's AIO board.

Yeah you definitely bought Helder's board and re-entered it into a PCB design program. Same components, same features, everything very close to same location. Pretty clear theft of his work. Nice.

How are these boards your original design when they look like COMPLETE replicas?

And then you have the balls to say "don't PM me about AIO PCB files" in your signature? Isn't that what you did in order to "create" your own boards?

Playing devils advocate here, if I created a GBZ pcb it probably would look like Helder's or Kite's because it's really hard to create a different looking PCB that will fit in a DMG-01. If I wanted USB arduino ontrols I would put an atmega32u4 on the board as well..... Unless helder gets a design / application patent I would expect others to create GBZ boards because there's a demand.

As a consumer, I have a choice on who I want to support and the market will change based on how I vote with my dollar. If you don't like someone creating their own PCB, which looks like someone else's PCB, don't buy it. If nobody buys it then the other sellers go away. it's as simple as that. Personally, I like that people are challenging others because it pushes people to raise the bar.

I'm fully confident that helder is moving on from what's offered on this resellers board and I would expect to see new innovative features on future releases. I'm sure helder is not losing sleep over this and neither should you. Let people do their thing unless people are blatantly pirating but even then there's nothing you can do unless the IP is protected.

Dryja123,

I would completely agree with you except we know that this guy went above and beyond to ensure he was pirating other peoples work for his own personal gain. He's not just stealing the idea behind the AIO board either, he has stolen the MintyPi PCB as well.

This guy is just generally bad news for a community like this.

I'm all for a little friendly competition, but if someone were to steal my work, I'd fully expect them to steal it, improve upon it and then sell it to the community to make me up my game further. This guy isn't doing that, he's stealing the work and selling it as his "own designs".

I knew he copied it and when I asked he defended it that it's not a copy and his own design. Just look at the components used their placement almost identical in every aspect. Even though I knew it it didn't bother me too much since he had an old design with problematic audio which buyers are yet to experience.

My gripe is he's now copying the mintyPi with battery monitor and all and even asked HoolyHoo and Wermy for help on it with them not knowing what it was for. So stealing my designs and then using HoolyHoo's software and likely Wermy's 3D parts which he freely released so I can't say much about that though.

Don't contact me about obtaining my board files (as you will not get them). If my Boards or PCB Kits are sold out, they will be restocked as soon as I can get them and there is demand for them. You can join the mailing list on my Website to be notified when they are available.

I'll definitely join discord and it's very well documented how I vote with my dollar. Just take a look at your PayPal account.

Sometimes I wonder why do we even allow these people to put stuff for sale. If everyone knows that this guy is selling Helder's stolen board designs, why can't we just close/delete this thread and ban the user and make him find his own way to get awareness but by simply keeping this thread open it just gives him more public awareness and he will continue selling more stuff here because there's no punishment for this type of behaviour. I say kick this guy off this forum at least that way it will be harder for him to sell his boards.
