Post by RetroGamingNow » Tue Aug 30, 2016 12:34 pm

Can a three pin POT be used, like this one https://www.amazon.com/5-Pin-Linear-Whe ... eter+wheel (with @helder all in one board) and if so how would it be wired correctly? Thanks

actually, the description is for 5-pin, the picture is probably wrong. you might want to check that with vendor.
either way, 5pin is usually for stereo, 3 pin would work for mono, generally. google search the part number and search for schematics or data sheets.

You can use it but as mentioned would be mono output.

Okay, thanks guys. I was just looking for one with a thicker wheel and only ones I can find are the 3 pin ones. If anyone knows of any please point me in the right direction.

GBD, One channel in, one out.

Can be used. Look up b103 for a phone pinout.
