Sound issue

Post by Frigo » Fri Mar 31, 2017 4:06 pm

Hello everyone,
First, I'm very sory for my english but I'm french...

So I try to build a GBZ with a Pi3 and helder' pcb. Everything was ok till I test the sound. I've got nothing...(I mean I've got something looks like a "bee" sound that's all  )
I did excactly all the thing, but lot of exemple are for the Pi0 not for Pi3.
Do I need to reconfig the file config. ?? How I do?

And I'm thinking about to add an analog stick also, if someone know how to do I will be very interesting by that!
Please help me ! Thank you guy!

Hey,

how did you wire your sound output?
For my build I´ve used the build in audio of the RPi3.

Just wire the input on the potentiometer directly to the test pads.

PP25 L Audio
PP26 R Audio

Lout, Rout and Gnd from potentiometer to the Aio board an it should work fine.
By this way you don´t have to wire anything to the Rin and Lin on the Aio. (It´s only for pwm audio)

To use an analog stick you have to reprogram the Aio pcb.

OK so, I've tried:

pp25 > pwm0 and pp26> pwm1 (Like chedda said in his build) with the potentiometer and without it:
Sound very low and static noise and the potentiometer doesn't change the volume.

Pp25 > Rout and pp26 > Lout
Sound more loud but more static sound also (and no more potentiometer...)

No one made a GBZ with helder V2.2 board and a pi3 around here?

I need help....

Sorry I don't have any info for you, I'm going to be doing a build with Helder's AIO 2.2 and a pi 3. I'll be watching this thread. Hope you come to a solution!
