GBZ Temperature after playing for 30 minutes onward

Post by tinkerBOY » Wed Jul 05, 2017 5:01 am

I'm just wondering how hot does your gameboy zero gets after playing for 30 minutes onward? I get around 63 degree Celsius. Is this normal?

You can check yours by entering this command:

Code: Select all

vcgencmd measure_temp

Mine is around 60C after playing for a few hours. The raspberry pi won't start to throttle until around 80C so these temps are fine.

Did someone ever tried to stick a plate of copper using conductive heatsink epoxy to lower the temp ?
i bought some of these on ali and i'm waiting for all the stuffs to arrive.

i'm intended to use kite's super low profile blower combined to 0,8mm copper plate to cool down the ARM processor of the raspberry.

I didn't go to normal heatsink as i don't really now for now the left room for cooling when closing the case.

My project is from scratch and for now, i ordered almost everything, but didn't get anything yet
