This is for a home made option...
I think even your not doing it yourself and are outsourcing the printing....
Which also cost more than doing it at home (but obviously the quality is gonna be slightly better as well)

Re: Screen Surround - printing techniques ?
it a screen worth considering, you'll get the same results as a mintyPi but with just a larger screen (and in a Gameboy form factor)....
http://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=4302
once I've fine tuned everything....
I'll post a blank screen surround template.....
and I've also knocked up a screw bracket (which I'll also post)

Hmmm... I have some ideas... thanks veteran! I have access to a silhouette cutter so some experimentation is definitely in order!

Re: Screen Surround - printing techniques ?
you can have look at my first attempt in a build....
http://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php? ... 473#p52473
its not 100% as i would like it....
but i used my antique inkjet, and only used an exacto knife for cutting and trimming.....
for me the hard part was not the cutting, but the applying...
i'm gonna have a few more goes, i think i can get it nailed to where it looks very decent.......

Re: Screen Surround - printing techniques ?
I'm not sure if this might help you, but my brother told me about it and I used it when applying a screen protector to my cell phone. If you apply the vinyl while in your bathroom after having taken a hot shower, you'll have a virtually dust free environment to work in!

That was an old trick for opening up hard disks to try and window them!
