Screen setup is not working

My screen is showing a blank white display when I test it to see if it is working. I am certain that my wiring is correct. I am using variant 8 of the BW screen from the wiki. I am wondering if anyone else has had this issue and how they fixed it. I am also wondering if it is a a bad screen or maybe a corrupt SD card I am using to test. Any insight will help!
