Boxypixel with freeplay cm3
Feels great and looks great. Number 2 on list. Was a little bit of a challenge getting all software to work but got there. Ed over at freeplay is down on his luck. Lets give him the Ol fashion heave ho lets get this guy back on the map. He worked with me every step of the way, answered questions I had ( at night even ymmv) and is just flowing with great customer service. Thanks ed at freeplay and thanks nick at boxypixel for everything.

That looks awesome, great work! What's going on with the shoulder buttons? Are there two or four? Like are the little nub things L2 and R2?
What systems are you using it to emulate?

Re: Boxypixel with freeplay cm3
There are 4 buttons. The reg l and r are 1 and nubs are l and r 2. Used the smaller addon board with fan support. It was super fun. Its equal to a pi 3b+. You are given the options for a gba resolution with glass screen or the boxy screen from nick at boxypixel. I wanted all the screen real estate. It was challenging but not Louis rossman status. Ed over at freeplay is an amazing guy with excellent customer service.

I'm interested in building one of these. How did you do your extra L&R buttons? Any pics of the inside or info you can provide would be appreciated.
