how is project, you how connect screen
please share audio setup diagram
I uploaded an image for you: Image.

The important part is not to use the ampifier for the headphones, and you dont need that, because the display can drive headphones.
The amplifier is only needed for the loudspeaker. And because the loudspeaker needs mono, i mixed the stereo signal with the 10k resistors.

Did you try this schematics salami ? That is really clever

Do you have a problem with me ? The first post talked about connecting L+R together and that it was generating noise.
The last post is talking about mixing L+R with resistors, where do you read that it's actually what he has done ?

i dont have a problem with you

my requst to salami738 for wiring diagram was based on what he had already post (photos and statement of different wiring diagram)
but i have a issue with people who cant be bother to read, but advise others to read and then dont acknowledge the error they make

@YaYa and @Codemaster123: I thought about using the schematic from VeteranGamer, but as i mentioned earlier:
you are only using the left channel (L+ / L-) on the output side.
So if you are emulating games with stereo sound, you will only get the sound of the LEFT stereo side of both sides of your headphone (your signal path is: stereo -> only left side -> dual mono left side).
You have no static on your build, because you dont have the outputs of the PAM8403 connected.
The solution of VeteranGamer can be of use, if you only want mono sound.
If you want stereo sound (e.g. SNES), you should think about an other solution (i use the schematic i posted).

In reality you don't get stereo sound but a mixed L + R channel over monaural output. But i agree that, in that way, you are not loosing half way one channel. :geek:

Codemaster123, i have no lesson to receive about reading posts. I've been helping here more people than you can imagine, and troubleshooted more issues than you can think, even on direct chat, so stop bothering me and turn the page.
I think that the number of thanks i have received and the number of tutorials i have written is talking much more than your thoughts about me.

In the picture from Salami738 that you have colored, i am sorry but i do not see with precision from where to where are going cables so forgive me if i ask. A perspective picture is not a schematic. You may have the eye of the tiger, i do not. That said, cheers

One question - How do you intend to reduce/increase volume if using headphones?
