I tried emailing the guy but he hasn't responded yet. I'm curious to see the board he designed. The trigger buttons for the four button layout look pretty cool.

I'm really happy with mine, I removed the touch screen and modified Recalbox to use the correct resolution. It's really crisp.

The only downside I've seen is small screen tear (Diagonal) when fast moving objects are on the screen. It's a small price to pay though for the better quality overall.

I'm struggling to get it all fitted in though as with the HDMI it adds quite a bit of depth.

You remove the touch screen system or the glossy screen present on the "real" screen ?

You have photo ?

Big thanks

Complicated to wait now

Yes the actual screen has a glossy coating. Hard to take pictures to do it justice!

The top picture shows how the quality is, the bottom two is something to do with my phone camera showing the RGB pixels, looks much better in person!

I ordered from this seller: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3-5-LCD ... 98031.html

However, seems to have gone up from £16 to £30! Careful when buying as there is an SPI version of this screen which won't work/performance terrible.

Has anyone actually ordered the built gameboy from 1 up?
It looks very tasty.
Google translate tells me that my country can neccessate purchase.
But then I can't do anything else.
Dude has an email address in the description of the video so I suppose that's how orders are done.
Anyway, if anyone has ordered one I'd love to hear how it comes out.

Does anyone know which buttons he is using for his back buttons? I love the way they look and would love to work them into my own build.
