Re: Collecting information on alternative displays - please contribute
Yes, i got some for my projects a few months back for $23 each from another seller on ebay!!!Racerboy wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2017 1:07 pmIs this for real? Haha

Re: Collecting information on alternative displays - please contribute
Finally tried it out just to see if it would work as a backup camera. No good. Screen would flicker and was dim with 12v connected. Used my multimeter to verify everything was getting voltage. Played with the mode and + - buttons, no change. If there is a section for not recommended displays I would put this in that category. I'm just going to pick up one of the ones people have had success with.

Re: Collecting information on alternative displays - please contribute
hmm mine is working fine with this setup. Anyway seems like the display detected singal (blinks at startup). Do you have correctly set config.txt to video output?brigghius wrote: ↑Sun Apr 30, 2017 1:13 amTY, but there is a problem

Re: Collecting information on alternative displays - please contribute
try to comment following lines in config.txt :
if it won't work you can try to uncomment sdtv_mode=2 line in config.
Anyway if you have some other composite video device you can test it. I think the display is OK just no composite out configured.
Code: Select all
hdmi_drive=2
config_hdmi_boost=0

Re: Collecting information on alternative displays - please contribute
hmm no idea I'm not using recalbox. I used retropie and it worked out of the box.... the best way to test display is from wel known working source. If you have one you can test. The display won't work without signal.brigghius wrote: ↑Sun Apr 30, 2017 9:53 amNothing!kubino wrote: ↑Sun Apr 30, 2017 8:12 amtry to comment following lines in config.txt :
