Turned up a couple of days back. Nice quality and fits well into the case with a little trimming of the PCB. I also removed the touch screen.

Much better than the BW screen, default text is readable and no fuzzy/blurriness. Aspect ratio is obviously a little less ideal but I'll compensate with a thicker bezel at the bottom of the LCD cut out.
Here's an attempt at showing the picture quality...

It will take a 1080p signal (Actually doesn't look bad!) but the native is 480x320.

Hi All

Just for Info, in my efforts for modding a GB to GBZ, the screen I bought from Amazon, I think. Will check.

This screen works without modding the the PCB with link cable etc. Powers ok from 5 Volts, see below pics.

Hmmm big question, to make the raspberry pi 0 run on composite video output, we have to change the config.txt of recalbox, retropi, ... to change the output ? True ?

Because if we have to do that, 0 tutorials indicate it...

Recalbox box does require changing the config.txt, Retropie should work without any changes. Here for Recalbox: https://youtu.be/_MtN_s4tVK0?t=4m49s

Has anyone tried this display?
http://www.gearbest.com/lcd-led-display ... tml?wid=21
If not, is it possible? I'm new to all of this and learning along the way. I've already got a BW 3.5", but was thinking this might work and fit a little better in the DMG case.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks,
SPC
