i had set all lcd settiongs now. this pcb is too big for gameboy's shell, so i cut it

Hi all. Thought I'd share the below as though I've flipped through most of this site, I haven't seen a board like the one I just found! (With the "hole" in the middle) To give a bit of background, I've probably had this screen for about 5 years. It was actually believe it or not, bought to be used as a reversing camera screen! Crazy huh? ;) Anyway, possibly because it's quite old, it doesn't have any buttons for adjusting the brightness or anything. I hooked it up to 5v and just got a wavy pattern, but I immediately noticed 4 pads on the right hand side of the board that said VID, 5V, GND, and DC out. So I left the ground where it was and put the positive wire to the 5V pad, and it came right on!

Unfortunately, the board is too big to use in a gameboy, so I'm making other plans for it...

Hey,

So this is my display I got today and I am lost on how to convert it to 5v. I am a noob to game boy zero but exclent with soldering and understanding wiring
