I2c driving me mad! (kitch-bent rev 2 board)

Post by majestic » Tue Dec 06, 2016 11:09 pm

Hi, im trying to build a GBZ and am having a nightmare with the control board.
Ive activated I2c in Raspi-config and am able to use I2cdetect with (what i think are) positive results as ive seen mentioned in another post but i cannot get Retroarch or RetroPie to pickup the board at all. Ive tried fresh images and checking each wire many times and am slowly going crazy. Hope someone can help before i have no choice but to eat the half assembled gbz to teach it a lesson :D

You need to install an I2C gamepad driver. Petrockblog has one for the control block (version 1 as V2 uses SPI) or there's one in recalbox but i forget what it's called. It's in their github though.

Edit: it's https://github.com/recalbox/mk_arcade_joystick_rpi
