BW screen variant 9 board
Hi guys !
I bought a BW lcd screen and I got the variant 9 board inside. The screen flickes when powered with 5v, does anyone found an issue to make it work ? Thanks for your help !

I just got my screen today. I got variant 9.
According to http://sudomod.com/wiki/index.php?title ... t-9_5V.jpg I will to remove the chip and solder in 5v.
On the image of yours it looks like you did not have to do that and you are able to use it for games just fine.
Did you just attach the red wire and hook it up to your pi and it started working or is it going to be necessary to remove the chip in order to use this screen?

no need to remove the chip, just solder a jumper to it and your good to go...

Hi, i just got this variant (9)to day, the 5v is soldieried to which pin on the chip, as the pin you used is different from the wiki. Thanks a lot
