This is the best build I've seen super super clean puts it together in a matter of minutes has the latest and greatest of everything, heck he could of even put the cartridge reader if he wanted too. It's Alost too good to be true.

Nice. I did a google search on it..
"shop155354993.taobao.com" on my Android Phone but Chrome had a hard time translating it to English.
So I read the comments and decided to give him an email to ask what the kit comes with and how much it will cost. I'll keep you posted..unless he replies to someone faster.

Very neat setup though!

300 seems steep - he's only selling it for 860, that translates to around £100/$125. I ordered the screen he appears to be using for just £15. Some extremely affordable parts on that site!

I was looking into this yesterday and couldn't get any info on the screen. Do you have a link and is it really HDMI like he says in the video? if so there goes all our video problems.BenOfTheNorth wrote:300 seems steep - he's only selling it for 860, that translates to around £100/$125. Re: Hd display Raspberry pi 3, 7,000mah
If you watch the video you can see the screen reads HDMI input at 06.47.
Re: Hd display Raspberry pi 3, 7,000mah
It's this LCD and it's of no use to us.
If you look closely he cut open the sides to make room.
This is the screen https://world.taobao.com/item/445429786 ... TTF#detail
It's 86mm which makes it fit my case exactly, the original gameboy is between ~84-85mm (sides are tapered)
Secondly it's only 320*480px... not 640*480
If you ask me not worth the trouble
More info on the different versions of the screen; https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view ... p?t=124961

Re: Hd display Raspberry pi 3, 7,000mah
The specific one I bought was this: https://world.taobao.com/item/541924387 ... ta551cf5e0Helder wrote:I was looking into this yesterday and couldn't get any info on the screen. Do you have a link and is it really HDMI like he says in the video? if so there goes all our video problems.
Delivery seems too cheap so I'm waiting on the seller asking for more there, but the screen costs peanuts. Looks like true HDMI and also comes with that little adapter he used.
The fit is questionable as noted above, but with resolution adjustment it might work well. Worth a try at the price though because if it works it'll be fantastic (assuming it all fits )
